Co-Costume Director for "How to Survive Being in a Shakespeare Play"
I was Co-Costume Director for Lockport High School's Virtual production of "How to Survive Being in a Shakespeare Play" debuting virtually in December 2020. The show includes a variety of scenes from different Shakespeare shows and everyone in the cast acted at least two different roles throughout the show. The costume design includes more basic costumes for ensemble roles with defining accessories with the lead roles in a full costume.

Interim Alterations Lead Manager at David's Bridal
I was promoted to Interim Alterations Lead Manager at David's Bridal in Tonawanda while the current manager was out on maternity leave. Tasks include completing all alterations fittings and pickups, sewing of customer's dresses, keeping track of statistics, managing work for alteration specialists, quality control of completed garments, floor managing, customer service, opening and closing tasks, organizing product and items to be serviced. I was in this position from November to December of 2020.

Costume Designer for Hello Dolly!
I was the Costume Designer for Lockport High School's 2020 production of Hello Dolly! The show was nominated for the Kenny Awards at Shea's Theater in Buffalo. The show was supposed to run April 3rd, 4th and 5th with the Kenny Awards being on May 16th, but unfortunately all events were cancelled due to Covid-19. I designed and built all the costumes for the lead character, Dolly Levi, as well as helped with organizing and curating costumes for all other 35 members of the cast. Bridal Stylist at David's Bridal
I began working as a Bridal Stylist at David's Bridal in Amherst. Based on a bride's vision for her special day, I help her find her dream dress, accessories and dresses for her bridesmaids. I am able to work with any budget and vision to help make the day perfect for my client. My experience in alterations gives me the added ability to help a bride envision how her dress will look once its perfectly fitted to her.

I graduated from Buffalo State University in Buffalo, New York on May 18th, 2019 Summa Cum Laude with double honors. I have a bachelors degree in Fashion and Textile Technology with a concentration in Apparel Design. I also have successfully completed the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program while at Buffalo State.

"Venus: An Exploration in Lingerie Construction Techniques"
At annual Student Research and Creativity Conference at Buffalo State College, I will be giving a 15 minute oral presentation highlighting my process of making a 6 outfit lingerie collection titled "Venus". My presentation will start with my beginning concept, trend researching, and my own research into my design influences. From there, I discuss my process for selecting fabrics and designing my garments. I then flat pattern most of my pieces leaving only a few to be draped. I will discuss the process of fitting and sewing all my garments. Lastly, I will conclude with photos of my finished garments from Runway 12.

Runway 12 Senior Designer
My Collection, "Venus", will be featured at Runway 12 as part of the senior collection section. This collection has been developed over the course of almost a year. "Venus" is an Italian renaissance and ocean inspired lingerie collection. The garments include panties, corsets, bras, robes, jumpsuits, skirts and dresses. The collection is also inspired by WGSN's Spring/Summer 2020 trend of "Empower Up.

On April 18th, 2019, I was honored at the Honors Convocation for the Honors Program at Buffalo State. At the ceremony, I recieved the Outstanding Student award for the Fashion and Textile Technology Program.

Volunteer for Buffalo Indie Weddings
I was the communications person for the Buffalo Indie Weddings Show at Hotel Henry on March 10th, 2019. I was in charge of gathering the gift cards for the mini-moon as well as help coordinate the fashion show, check-in of guests, set up of the event, and clean up.

I was selected by the head of the Muriel A. Howard Honors program, Dr. Amy McMillan, to be interviewed for the Students Who Soar web series on Buffalo State's website. The focus of the interview was on my accomplishments to date, my post graduation plans, my experience at Buffalo State, and my backstory. The interview features at 2 minute video and an article.

Intern for Zandra Rhodes
I was the 2018 winner of the ITAA Eden Travel Award. This award included a two week internship with Zandra Rhodes in London, England. While there, I worked with one of the head designers, Hayley Cowling, on digital design of prints for fabric, mugs, cars, and more. I also worked with the sewing department on prepping the screen printed fabric for cutting and sewing.

2018 ITAA Eden Travel Award Winner
On November 9th, 2018, I was announced the winner of the Eden Travel award at the annual International Textile and Apparel Association conference. This national award was decided upon portfolio submissions from the ITAA universities in the US. The award includes a 2 week internship with Zandra Rhodes at her museum in London, England.

"Interconnecting the Unexpected: Combinations and Styles in Cotton"
For SRCC, my poster presentation focused on a three piece outfit I constructed out of only cotton. The top was a button up style made out of denim and sateen. The top featured a collar, princess seams with piping, pockets, a back and front yolk, and an A-line fit below the waist. The skirt was a tea length pencil skirt constructed out of voile that included french seams, darts, invisible zipper, and a slit. The outfit also included a belt made out of cotton sateen.

Tour Chaperone for The Richardson Olmstead Campus
At the Richardson Olmstead Complex, I am a chaperone for the historical tours. We cover subject matter including patient life, architecture, agriculture, and overall history of the facility within the tours. I am also responsible for the paperwork, making sure the tour routes are safe, and opening and closing the buildings.

Runway 11
My collection 1890 was shown at Runway 11 at Buffalo State University. My evening wear collection was inspired by both cemetery angels and women's mourning wear from 1890. In addition, I showcased a lavendar gown in the single item category and a three piece outfit for the cotton collection.

Alterations Specialist at David's Bridal
I am a former Alterations Specialist at David's Bridal on Niagara Falls Boulevard. At David's, I completed fittings for bridesmaids, brides, mother of the brides/grooms, and all other special occasion gowns. Also, I completed the sewing for all previously listed gowns, booked appointments, steamed and organized gowns, and operated POS systems. Resigned this position on July 5th.

I was featured in Notions National Sewing Magazine in an article titled "Sew Young". The article discusses the dress I created for Runway 10 and how it was constructed along with my upcoming plans. The article was released summer 2017.

For The Palace's production of "10 Little Indians", I was asked to help design a costume for the character "Frau Grohmann". I created an elaborate apron to match with the rest of the established costume.

In August 2016, I started attending Buffalo State University for Fashion and Textile Technology with a concentration in Apparel Design. I intend to graduate in Spring 2019. The classes include: Patternmaking, Computer Aided Design, Fashion Illustration, Draping, Fashion Forecasting, Textile Testing, etc..

"The Wearable Scrapbook" feature in The Union Sun and Journal
I was featured in The Union Sun and Journal for the dress I created for graduation. The dress was made entirely out of black and white photos from my 4 years in high school printed on fabric in a tea length, sweetheart design.
